In a significant ruling, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has set aside the election victory of Congress MLA Mukesh Malhotra after finding that he had concealed details of pending criminal cases while filing his nomination. The court also declared former BJP minister Narayan Singh Kushwah Rawat as the duly elected candidate. The verdict was delivered by a single bench of Justice Gurpal Singh Ahluwalia at the High Court bench in Gwalior while hearing an election petition filed by
