26-Year-Old Killed in Holi Clash in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar Was Studying Digital Marketing to Support Family, Say Kin

A 26-year-old man who was killed during a clash on the occasion of Holi in Uttam Nagar was pursuing a course in digital marketing in hopes of securing a better future for his family, relatives said.

The incident occurred during Holi celebrations when a dispute reportedly broke out between two groups in the locality. According to police sources, the argument quickly escalated into a violent clash, during which the young man was allegedly attacked.


Family members said the victim had been working hard to improve his career prospects and had recently enrolled in a digital marketing course. He hoped that the new skills would help him secure a stable job and support his family financially.


Relatives described him as a hardworking and responsible individual who was deeply committed to helping his parents and siblings. “He wanted to build a better life for us. He was studying so he could get a good job and support the family,” a family member said.


Following the incident, police from Delhi rushed to the spot and took the injured man to a nearby hospital. However, doctors declared him dead due to severe injuries.


Authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. Police officials said efforts are underway to identify and apprehend those involved in the clash.


The incident has sparked concern among residents of the area, with many calling for stricter measures to prevent such violent altercations during festival celebrations.


The victim’s body was later sent for post-mortem examination, and police said further action will be taken based on the findings and statements of witnesses.
