In a significant boost to infrastructure development in Uttar Pradesh, AISATS has announced an investment of ₹4,458 crore for projects at the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar. Key Investment Announcement

The agreement marks one of the major investment outcomes of the Chief Minister’s foreign tour, which is focused on attracting global capital and strategic partnerships for the State. The proposed investment will be directed towards developing modern airport-related infrastructure and services at the Jewar airport site.

Officials stated that the project will enhance cargo handling, ground services, and overall aviation support systems, strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s position as a key logistics and connectivity hub.

Boost to Jewar Airport Development

The investment will be channelled into facilities at the Noida International Airport, which is being developed as one of India’s largest greenfield airports. The airport is expected to significantly decongest Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and serve as a major gateway for North India.

Authorities believe the addition of world-class aviation services will attract airlines, cargo operators, and international businesses, further boosting regional economic growth.

Focus of Singapore Visit

The MoU was signed on the second day of the Chief Minister’s Singapore tour, during which he held meetings with global investors and business leaders. The visit is part of the State government’s broader strategy to promote Uttar Pradesh as a preferred destination for foreign direct investment.

Government officials described the deal as a milestone that reflects growing investor confidence in the State’s policy environment and infrastructure push.

Employment and Economic Impact

The ₹4,458-crore investment is expected to generate significant employment opportunities during both the construction and operational phases. Industry experts suggest that improved aviation infrastructure could also catalyse growth in sectors such as manufacturing, e-commerce, and exports.

With the signing of the MoU, the project now moves into the implementation phase, subject to regulatory approvals and detailed planning. The development underscores Uttar Pradesh’s ambition to emerge as a major aviation and logistics hub in the coming years.
