  • Highlight India’s military history and operational preparedness

The ‘Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan’ programme also aims to strengthen civil-military ties by engaging with local communities, veterans, and youth during the journey.

Starting the expedition from Dwarka, a city of historical and cultural importance, underscores the symbolic link between India’s ancient heritage and its modern-day defence forces.

The final leg at the National War Memorial will serve as a solemn tribute to soldiers who laid down their lives in service of the nation.

🇮🇳 Strengthening National Connect

The Army said such initiatives help bring citizens closer to the armed forces and foster a deeper understanding of the sacrifices made to safeguard the nation’s borders.

The expedition team is expected to cover multiple border districts and interact with local populations before reaching New Delhi, where a ceremonial event is likely to mark the conclusion of the journey.
