Bhopal Boy Stabbed 27 Times in 30 Seconds by Minors Over Past Dispute

Bhopal: A shocking incident of violence has come to light in Bhopal, where a teenage boy was allegedly stabbed 27 times within 30 seconds by a group of minors, reportedly over an earlier altercation in which he had slapped one of them.

According to police officials, the attack took place in a residential locality following a heated confrontation. Investigators said the accused, all minors, had reportedly harboured resentment against the victim after a previous dispute escalated into a physical altercation.

Brutal Assault

Preliminary findings suggest that the group surrounded the victim and launched a sudden attack using sharp-edged weapons. CCTV footage from the area is said to show the assault lasting less than a minute.

Medical reports indicate that the victim suffered:

  • More than 10 deep stab wounds on one wrist

  • Severed fingers on the other hand

  • Multiple injuries to the shoulder and back

  • Significant blood loss due to repeated stabbing

He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors described his condition as critical but stable after emergency treatment.


Police Investigation

Police have detained the minors involved and registered a case under relevant sections related to attempted murder and unlawful assembly. Since the accused are under 18, proceedings will follow the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act.

An officer stated that the motive appears to be retaliation stemming from the earlier incident. Authorities are examining CCTV footage, eyewitness accounts, and forensic evidence to reconstruct the sequence of events.

The incident has sparked concern among residents about rising juvenile violence. Local authorities have increased patrolling in the area to prevent further unrest.
