Bihar Board Class 12 Exams 2026 Begin Today; Over 13 Lakh Students to Appear

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on February 2, 2026, commenced the Class 12 Intermediate Annual Examinations, with over 13 lakh students set to appear across the state. The exams are being conducted under strict security and coordination measures to ensure fairness and smooth execution.

According to BSEB officials, approximately 13.18 lakh candidates are registered to take the exams at 1,761 examination centers spread across Bihar. The board has implemented stringent rules and monitoring systems to prevent any irregularities during the examination process.

Security and Coordination Measures For Bihar Board Class 12 exams 2026

BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore has instructed district authorities to take strict action against any violations or malpractice. To maintain effective communication and coordination, the board has set up a 24-hour control room, operational from 6:00 am on February 1. Students, teachers, and officials can reach the control room at 0612-2232227 and 0612-2232257. Additionally, district-level WhatsApp groups have been formed to ensure seamless coordination and prompt resolution of any issues.

The board has also urged all examination centers to strictly follow COVID-19 protocols and other safety guidelines, wherever applicable, to safeguard students and staff.


Admit Cards and Student Guidance For Bihar Board Class 12 exams 2026

While admit cards are available on the official BSEB website intermediate.biharboardonline.com, students are required to collect the physical copies from their respective schools before entering examination halls. The board has reminded students to carry their admit cards, valid identification, and essential stationery to avoid any disruptions on exam day.


BSEB’s Assurance

The board assured that the examination process is designed to be transparent, orderly, and fair, with continuous monitoring at both state and district levels. “Our priority is to ensure that students can focus on their exams without any disturbances,” said Anand Kishore, BSEB Chairman.

The exams will continue as per the scheduled timetable, covering all subjects of the Intermediate curriculum. The results are expected to be announced after the evaluation process, with notifications to be shared via the official BSEB portals.
