📰 Congress Seeks Probe in Haryana Over Alleged Misuse of Government Machinery

The Congress party has urged the Governor of Haryana to order a probe into the alleged misuse of government machinery, intensifying the political confrontation with the ruling BJP in the state.

A Congress delegation, led by senior leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda, submitted a memorandum to the Governor, raising serious concerns about what it described as “collusion” between BJP leaders and election authorities.

According to Hooda, the memorandum details alleged irregularities involving the Election Officer, claiming that the ruling party may have influenced administrative machinery to gain an unfair advantage. The Congress has demanded an impartial and time-bound investigation to ensure transparency and uphold democratic norms.

“The integrity of the electoral process must be protected. We have brought specific instances to the Governor’s notice and expect appropriate action,” Hooda said while addressing the media after the submission.

The allegations have sparked a fresh political row in the state, with Congress leaders accusing the BJP of undermining fair electoral practices. They have called for strict accountability and warned that such issues could erode public trust in democratic institutions.

Meanwhile, the BJP has rejected the accusations, terming them baseless and politically motivated. Party leaders have maintained that the electoral process is being conducted fairly and in accordance with established rules.

The Governor’s office is expected to review the memorandum and decide on the next course of action. Political observers believe the issue could escalate further, especially with elections approaching, as both parties intensify their rhetoric.

The development highlights the growing tensions in Haryana’s political landscape, with allegations and counter-allegations shaping the narrative ahead of crucial electoral battles.
