Reason for Postponement

According to CBSE officials, the decision was taken to ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of the examination process. Administrative problems at the concerned centres reportedly disrupted the smooth conduct of the exam, prompting immediate intervention.

The board clarified that the move was precautionary and aimed at safeguarding the interests of candidates.

Fresh Date to Be Announced

CBSE has stated that the re-examination date will be notified soon on the official CTET website. Candidates who were scheduled to appear at the affected centres will be eligible to sit for the re-exam without any additional fee.

Fresh admit cards will be issued for the rescheduled test, and candidates are advised to regularly check official updates.
