The brothers are currently lodged in Colvale Central Jail following their arrest as part of the ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities connected to the nightclub’s operations.

According to prosecution authorities, the accused were involved in forgery and submission of allegedly fabricated documents related to permissions and compliance requirements for running the establishment. The charges are being probed in connection with the fire incident that raised serious concerns over safety violations.

During the bail hearing, the prosecution opposed relief, arguing that the आरोप are serious in nature and that granting bail at this stage could hamper the investigation. The court, after considering the submissions, rejected the bail plea and directed that the accused remain in judicial custody.

The defence, on the other hand, contended that the allegations were exaggerated and that the accused had cooperated with investigators. However, the court was not convinced to grant bail at this stage.

The fire incident at the nightclub had sparked widespread outrage and led to increased scrutiny of safety norms, licensing procedures, and enforcement mechanisms in Goa’s nightlife sector.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine accountability and ensure that all legal violations are addressed. Further hearings in the case are expected in the coming weeks.

The case has once again highlighted the importance of strict compliance with safety regulations, especially in crowded public venues, to prevent such incidents in the future.
