In a significant push toward e-governance, the Government of Gujarat has digitised 20 high-demand citizen services, making them available through complete end-to-end online delivery on the Digital Gujarat platform.

💻 Reforms Driven by Administrative Recommendations
The move follows key suggestions from the Gujarat Administrative Reforms Committee, which recommended streamlining public services to improve efficiency, transparency, and accessibility.
As a result, about 4% of all services available on the Digital Gujarat portal are now fully digitised—from application to approval—without requiring citizens to visit government offices physically.
🧾 What ‘End-to-End Digital’ Means
The newly digitised services allow citizens to:
Submit applications online
Upload required documents digitally
Track application status in real time
Receive approvals and certificates electronically
This eliminates the need for manual paperwork and reduces processing delays.
📊 Focus on High-Demand Services
The government has prioritised services that see high public demand, ensuring that the maximum number of citizens benefit from the digital transition. These may include services related to:
Certificates and licenses
Welfare scheme applications
Utility and administrative approvals
🚀 Improving Governance and Accessibility
Officials say the initiative will:
Enhance ease of access for citizens across urban and rural areas
Reduce bureaucratic hurdles and delays
Promote transparency and accountability in service delivery
