Gurugram: In the aftermath of a tragic accident, the Labour Department in Haryana has ordered an immediate halt to construction activities at a site in Gurugram where a deadly soil collapse claimed seven lives.

⚠️ The Incident
The accident occurred when a mound of soil suddenly caved in at an under-construction site, trapping several workers beneath the debris. According to officials, seven labourers were killed, while four others sustained injuries, including three Nepalese workers.
Rescue teams rushed to the spot and carried out operations to pull out those trapped. The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
🛑 Immediate Government Action
Following the incident, the Labour Department took swift action by banning all construction work at the site until a thorough investigation is completed.
Officials stated that preliminary findings suggest possible lapses in safety measures, including inadequate support structures and failure to secure loose soil at the excavation area.

Authorities have launched a detailed inquiry to determine:
