Jamshedpur: Hyva Vehicle Torched at Road Construction Site in Anandpur, Work Halted

Jamshedpur: In a shocking act of arson, unidentified miscreants set ablaze a Hyva vehicle engaged in a key road construction project in the Anandpur area of West Singhbhum district, causing heavy financial losses and disrupting ongoing infrastructure work.

According to sources, the incident occurred late at night when a group of assailants reportedly reached the construction site and set the heavy vehicle on fire before fleeing the scene. The Hyva, which was being used to transport construction materials, was completely gutted in the blaze. By the time locals and site workers noticed the flames, the vehicle had already suffered extensive damage.

Major Setback to Road Project

The torched vehicle was part of a crucial road development initiative aimed at improving connectivity in the Anandpur region. The destruction of the Hyva has brought construction activities to a temporary halt, affecting project timelines and causing significant financial losses to the contractor.
