🔍 Focus on Supply Monitoring

Collectors have been asked to:

  • Conduct periodic reviews of LPG stock levels

  • Identify supply gaps and bottlenecks

  • Ensure timely distribution to consumers

The move aims to prevent shortages and ensure that households continue to receive uninterrupted cooking gas supply.

⚠️ Crackdown on Black Marketing

The government has also emphasised strict action against illegal practices such as:

  • Hoarding of LPG cylinders

  • Overpricing and unauthorised sales

  • Diversion of domestic LPG for commercial use

Officials have been directed to carry out inspections and take legal action against violators.

🏭 Alternatives for Commercial Users

Recognising the pressure on LPG demand, especially from commercial establishments, the सरकार has asked district authorities to suggest alternative fuel options for commercial consumers. This is expected to reduce dependency on domestic LPG and ease supply constraints.

📢 Ensuring Consumer Protection

The निर्देश comes in response to concerns raised from various regions about irregular supply and alleged misuse. Authorities aim to ensure that genuine consumers are not affected and that essential supplies remain accessible.

🔍 Ongoing Vigilance

Collectors will submit regular reports to the state government, and the situation will be continuously monitored to prevent any disruption.

The directive highlights the government’s effort to maintain transparency in LPG distribution and safeguard consumers from exploitation during periods of high demand.
