Man’s Chilling Remark After Allegedly Raping, Killing MBA Student in Indore

Indore: A 24-year-old MBA student was allegedly raped and murdered by her boyfriend inside his rented accommodation in Indore, sending shockwaves across the city and sparking outrage.

According to police officials, the accused allegedly committed the crime days before his arrest. What has further disturbed investigators is his reportedly calm and unsettling demeanor after the incident. During questioning, he is said to have made a chilling remark — “What’ll you do?” — when confronted about his actions.

Crime Inside Rented Accommodation

Police said the victim had gone to meet the accused at his rented residence. Initial investigations suggest that a dispute may have taken place before the alleged assault and murder. After the incident, the accused allegedly attempted to mislead authorities.

The woman’s body was later recovered from the accommodation. Forensic teams were called to the scene, and evidence was collected for examination.

The accused has been taken into custody and booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including charges of rape and murder. Officials confirmed that he is being interrogated and that further details will emerge as the probe progresses.

Police are also examining call records, digital evidence, and witness statements to establish the sequence of events leading up to the crime.

Public Outrage

The incident has triggered anger among residents and student groups, who have demanded swift justice and strict punishment for the accused. Authorities have assured that the case will be handled with urgency and sensitivity.

The crime has once again highlighted concerns over women’s safety in Madhya Pradesh, with calls for stronger preventive measures and stricter enforcement of laws to protect women.
