📰 PM Narendra Modi Condoles Fire Tragedies in Indore and Delhi; Announces Ex-Gratia Relief

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in separate fire incidents reported from Indore and the Palam area of Delhi, and announced financial assistance for the victims’ families.

In a message of condolence, the Prime Minister conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the tragic incidents.


💰 Ex-Gratia Announced

The Prime Minister stated that:

  • An ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund will be provided to the next of kin of each deceased

  • The injured will receive ₹50,000 as financial assistance


🔥 Separate Fire Incidents

The fires in Indore and Delhi’s Palam area reportedly caused casualties and injuries, prompting swift response from local authorities and emergency services. Firefighters and rescue teams worked to control the blaze and evacuate those affected.


🚑 Relief and Rescue Efforts

Local प्रशासन and emergency personnel were deployed immediately to:

  • Douse the flames

  • Rescue trapped individuals

  • Provide medical assistance to the injured

Hospitals in the respective areas are treating those injured in the incidents.


🙏 Nation Mourns Loss

The Prime Minister’s announcement comes as part of the Centre’s standard relief measures in cases of major tragedies. Leaders across the country have also expressed condolences and called for strict safety measures to prevent such incidents.
