Noida:Haryana Thunders were crowned champions of the Pro Wrestling League (PWL) 2026 after edging out Delhi Dangal Warriors in a nail-biting final at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Sunday night. The summit clash, marked by intense competition and dramatic momentum swings, lived up to its billing and will be remembered as one of the most gripping finals in league history.

The contest remained finely balanced throughout the evening, with both teams trading victories across the weight categories. After eight bouts, the scores were locked at 4-4, setting the stage for a decisive final encounter in the women’s 62 kg category.

Koliadenko Seals the Title

With the championship on the line, Paris Olympic silver medallist Iryna Koliadenko rose to the occasion, delivering a composed and dominant performance under immense pressure. Displaying superior technique and tactical control, Koliadenko secured a win by technical superiority, handing Haryana Thunders a dramatic 5-4 victory and the PWL 2026 title.

Individual Awards and Standout Performances

Despite ending on the losing side, Turan Bayramov of Delhi Dangal Warriors had an exceptional tournament and was named Player of the Tournament. Bayramov remained unbeaten throughout the season, winning all seven of his bouts in the men’s 57 kg category and accumulating 59 points, making him one of the standout performers of PWL 2026.


Chandermohan of Punjab Royals emerged as the highest point scorer of the tournament, reflecting consistent performances across the league stage.


In the final, Neha Sangwan (Haryana Thunders) was adjudged Player of the Match for her crucial contribution that kept the championship contest alive until the last bout. Ronak (Delhi Dangal Warriors) received the Fighter of the Match award for his impressive showing in the men’s 125 kg category.


The Impact Player of the Match award went to Akshay Dhere (Haryana Thunders) for a strong and influential performance in the men’s 57 kg category, which played a key role in the team’s overall success.
