The deceased has been identified as Vishnavi Jitesh (20), a third-year engineering student. According to police, she was found unresponsive in her hostel room late on the night of February 1.
Hostel authorities reportedly alerted the campus administration after she failed to respond to repeated knocks. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Local police reached the campus soon after receiving information and conducted a preliminary inspection of the room. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
