🔴 Tourist from Bhopal Killed After SUV Hits Family Car in Goa

A 65-year-old tourist from Bhopal was killed in a road accident in Goa after an SUV allegedly driven by a young man rammed into the car carrying him and his family, police said.

🚗 The Victim
The deceased has been identified as Bhagatram Sharma (65), who had travelled to Goa with his family for a vacation. According to officials, Sharma suffered severe injuries in the crash and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead during treatment.
🚙 How the Accident Happened
Police said the incident occurred when a Mahindra Thar SUV, allegedly driven by Shaurya Goyal, a resident of Delhi, hit one side of the hatchback in which Sharma and his family members were travelling.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the impact was strong, causing significant damage to the vehicle. Sharma, who was seated on the side that took the brunt of the collision, sustained critical injuries.
Other family members in the car reportedly suffered minor to moderate injuries and are currently receiving medical care.
🚔 Police Action
Local police reached the spot soon after receiving information about the crash. The SUV driver has been taken into custody for questioning, and a case has been registered under relevant sections dealing with rash and negligent driving causing death.
