According to investigators, the accused were involved in multiple residential thefts across different localities, targeting houses that were locked or where residents were away for extended periods. The suspects allegedly broke into the homes and stole valuables such as gold jewellery, cash, and electronic items.

After receiving several complaints from residents about similar burglary incidents, police launched a special investigation and surveillance operation to track down the culprits. Officers examined CCTV footage from nearby streets, monitored suspicious movements, and collected intelligence about known offenders.

Based on these leads, police managed to identify and arrest the two suspects. During interrogation, the accused reportedly confessed to their involvement in several housebreaking incidents.

Authorities later conducted searches and recovered gold ornaments, cash, and other valuables collectively valued at around ₹34 lakh. The recovered property has been seized and will be returned to the rightful owners after completing the legal procedures.

Police officials said the accused are being questioned further to determine whether they were involved in additional burglary cases or were part of a larger theft network.

A case has been registered against the two under relevant sections of the law, and they have been produced before a court. Investigations are continuing to trace the full extent of the stolen property and identify any accomplices.

Officials have also advised residents to install proper security systems, use CCTV cameras, and inform neighbours or local police when leaving homes locked for long periods, in order to reduce the risk of burglary. 🚔
