According to officials, the assailant launched the हमला in eastern Assam by opening indiscriminate fire at the camp and hurling multiple grenades. The sudden assault created panic in the area, as security forces scrambled to respond and secure the premises.

The injured personnel were immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Their condition is reported to be stable.

Security forces quickly cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the attackers. Reinforcements have been deployed, and combing operations are underway in surrounding المناطق to prevent any further incidents.

Police officials suspect the involvement of ULFA(I), a banned insurgent outfit active in parts of Assam, known for carrying out attacks targeting security forces. However, an official confirmation regarding the group’s role is still awaited.

Senior officers stated that the attack appears to be premeditated, given the use of firearms and explosives. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact sequence of events and identify those responsible.

The incident has once again highlighted the security challenges in certain parts of Assam, where militant activities, though reduced over the years, continue to pose threats.

Authorities have heightened security across sensitive areas, and intelligence agencies are closely monitoring developments to prevent any escalation.

Further updates are expected as the search operation continues and more details emerge from the investigation.
