According to the complaint filed by the victim, he had travelled to Delhi on February 24 and was staying with the accused woman, identified as Amina (name as per police records). The two were reportedly in a relationship, and the man claimed he had been visiting her frequently.

Police officials said the situation turned violent after the woman allegedly found out that the man was married and had hidden this information from her. Investigators believe the confrontation escalated into a heated argument inside the residence.

During the argument, the woman allegedly attacked the man with a sharp object, causing serious injuries to his private parts. The victim managed to seek medical help and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. Doctors have described his condition as serious but stable.

Following the incident, the victim approached the police and filed a complaint. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for causing grievous hurt and other applicable charges.
